Decisions, decisions

Writing job in San Francisco or celebrity nanny job that's LA/NYC bi-coastal plus international travel?

Thoughts?

Holy crap! That's a fun decision!

Based on practically zero relevant information, I'd say writing job for sure. I'm guessing that your intended career arc is writing-related and not diaper-changing-related, so that would be a better long-term move (probably) and San Francisco is literally my favorite place ever.

Plus, the bi-coastal thing sounds cool in theory, but I think would be stressful and annoying for me in real life. But you might be totally different in that respect!

Good luck, yo. Sounds like you really can't go wrong.

I'd need more information. good writing job? mediocre or worse writing job? cute kids? ugly kids? will diapers be involved? I've always longed for bi-coastal opportunities so that is tempting, but I agree with comment numbero uno, sounds like either way you will be living large. as for me publishing, not yet. it was for a photographer's website.

I'd say writing job in SF. Don't know you from heck but your blog is very interesting. Don't think being a celebrity nanny is all that interesting unless you want to a) hook up with one of the parents and then sell your story to the Enquirer or b) hmmm ... b), b), hmmm, BbbB ... yeah. International travel sounds good but the screaming (they all scream) kids that people are glaring at, and the nanny that sweating? Yeah, that's you. Lost luggage, clearing customs (no liquids? you got to be KIDDING Me that's baby formula I can PROVE it), trolley, trolley, check in. Sitting in the Bay getting literary sounding good about now?
