A note on the name

It beat out the other two contenders:

1)  HollywoodGrandma.blogspot.com

2) LAFacewithanOaklandBooty.blogspot.com

Technically, I'm over 25, which puts me at grandma status in this town.  However, here we lie about our age and say only great things about ourselves.  So from here on out, for all intents and purposes, I am 21 and beyond reproach.

As for number 2, while my booty is lovely, it's not quite at Oakland status.  It would have been misleading to say so.  

So I decided on The Internet Sensation.  After all, it is one of my New Year's Resolutions (a tradition I uphold with great fervor) to be sensational in 2008.  And not just on the interweb.  So here we are.  And, for those interested, I think those other discarded gems are still available.
